Jenny Zeng
CIO Global Fixed Income platform
Jenny Zeng is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of the Global Fixed Income platform and a member of the Investment Executive Committee of Allianz Global Investors.
As the CIO of Fixed Income, Ms. Zeng oversees the firm’s fixed income investment team, with more than EUR 200bn AUM in fixed income assets across government bonds, foreign exchange markets, corporate credits, structured notes, emerging markets bonds and insurance solutions. She also co-manages portfolios in the capacity of lead portfolio manager across numerous fixed income multi-sector strategies.
Leading the firm’s Global Fixed Income Investment Management Committee, Ms Zeng is responsible for the management and strategic growth of AllianzGI’s fixed income business and investment decisions across the platform.
Prior to her appointment as Global CIO, Ms. Zeng has previously served as the CIO for Fixed Income, Asia Pacific.
Ms. Zeng has approximately 20 years of experience in fixed income. Prior to joining AllianzGI in 2023, she held senior roles at AllianceBernstein for nearly 10 years, most recently served as a Senior Vice President, Co-Head Asia-Pacific Fixed Income and Responsible Officer. Prior to AllianceBernstein, she was at Citigroup’s emerging market credit trading team mostly as a Credit Sector Specialist.
Ms. Zeng regularly appears on CNBC, Bloomberg Television, and in other financial news media. Ms. Zeng is a CFA charterholder.
